Happy New Year!
Firstly, I must start by apologising for the lateness of this post – I have had a really busy start to the year! It’s been very exciting so far though – I have published my first comment post for a lovely women’s health brand called Pink Parcel. You can read about it here, but today I’m talking about Veganuary.
This year is probably the first year that I have set myself a serious New Year’s resolution. My husband and I decided to ditch the meat and go all out VEGAN for Veganuary! Yes, I know! I can’t believe it myself. I hate to say it, but he loves his meat – we both do!! As Nigerians, meat and fish are a large part of our traditional recipes, and there’s just no way that you can serve any Nigerian meal without meat or fish! It just doesn’t happen! I’ve heard so many people say a meal is not a meal without meat – and I’ve never met a Nigerian vegan! So we are probably making history here too!
